I love it when objects leave an impression in your skin. Like when my corduroy pillowcase leaves big lines on my face. Or when the seams from my undies remain after undressing.
Or when grass, grass, gets imprinted on your legs from lying in the park.
Happiness, as Aristotle said, depends upon ourselves. I've come to learn that how I feel day-to-day has little to do with whats going on around me, and much more to do with how I choose to see my life and react to circumstances.
Basically, if you focus on the good, you will start to see it everywhere, and then discover, and then remind yourself, how happy your life truly is. Every single gosh darned moment.
ok. i can hear you throwing up in your mouth a little bit. Tough. Deal with it. you can overcome your gag-reflex. trust me.
SO, in order to learn how to notice all the little things that make life wonderful - even if they are tiny or fleeting - I've decided to start this blog. Every day, at the end of the day, I will sit down and list ONE thing (or more if Im feeling ambitious) that makes me happy.
